The letters RIOT are copies taken from the logo of the MARRIOTT Hotels.
The Cairo Marriott Hotel on the Nile island Zamalek is one of most luxurious hotels in town. The neighborhood with many embassies is rather quiet. Even during the important days in January and February 2011, Zamalek was a very calm place. Ironically this hotel carries the word riot in his name.
