Sarah Jennifer Weber (DEU)

Sarah Jennifer Weber was born in Berlin (Germany), where she went to the professional ballet school from the „Deutsche Oper Berlin“ under the direction of Tatiana Gsovsky and Gerd Reinholm. After finishing the ballet school, she completed her studies in France, where she joined the preprofessional dance class of the „Higher Institute of Ballet“ from Rosella Hightower and performed with the young ballet company „Jeune Ballet International“.In 2000 she joined the ballet ensemble of the „Deutsche Oper Berlin“ as an apprentice and then worked at the „Staatstheater Schwerin“, the „Volkstheater Rostock“ and as a soloist at the neoclassical ballet company of the „Theater Görlitz“.
Sarah Jennifer Weber was also a guest artist at the Opera in Bonn and in Düsseldorf. In 2004 she had her debut as an actrice, and performed the role of „Ida“ in the operetta „The Bat“ at the „Oper Köln“. She also danced in various modern dance projects like „Race“ from Karen D. Savage (New York) at the „Tanzhaus NRW“ in Düsseldorf or „24 Etudes“ from Gilbert Passe-Coutrin (Paris) and participated as a dancer at the „Choreographic Competition Hannover“ in 2003. Since 2007, she has been working with the classical ballet company at „Cairo Opera House“. She also teaches ballet and pilates for children and adults in Cairo.
